2. Dimethyl phthalate is an intermediate of rodenticides didia, rat and chlororatone, and is also an important solvent.

3. This product is a plasticiser with strong solubility to a variety of resins, and can be compatible with a variety of cellulose resins, rubber, and vinyl resins. It has good film-forming, adhesion and waterproofness. It is usually used in combination with diethyl phthalate in the production of cellulose acetate films, varnishes, transparent papers, moulding powders, etc. A small amount is used in the production of nitrocel lulose. This product can also be used as a plasticiser for nitrile rubber, and the product has good cold resistance. Mix with other plasticisers.
